گردنبند فیلادلفیا یکی از ارتوزهایی است که در بسیاری از بیماریها و صدمات مهرههای گردنی و یا ضایعات بافت نرم گردن بنا به تجویز پزشک، مورد استفاده قرار میگیرد. این وسیله از نظر میزان ثابت سازی حرکات گردنی بعد از جلیقه هالو وست (Halo vest) و ژاکت مینروا (Minerva jacket) قرار داشته و نسبت به فور پوستر (Four poster) محدودیت حرکتی بیشتری اعمال میکند.

نحوه استفاده:
گردنبند فیلادلفیا را با توجه به محیط گردن، سن بیمار و مقایسه آن با نوع سایز بندی انتخاب نمایید.
با استفاده از تصویر و علائم راهنما، قطعات گردنبند را در جهت صحیح قرار دهید.
هنگام بستن، بندهای دو طرف را طوری بکشید که وسیله کاملاً متقارن دور گردن بسته شده و هیچ انحرافی در سر و گردن مشاهده نشود.
حداقل هفتهای دو بار وسیله را با آب سرد و صابون بشویید.
مدت و زمان استفاده از گردنبند طبق نظر پزشک تعیین می گردد، لذا در صورتی که مجبور به استفاده از آن در طول شبانه روز به طور مداوم هستید به نکات زیر توجه فرمایید.
User's guide:
Choose the correct size of the Philadelphia collar according to the neck circumference and age of the patient.
Put the cervical collar parts together in the right direction according to the pictures and signs
Put the lateral straps in such a way that the device place symmetrically around your neck with no deviation in the head and neck.
Wash gently in cold water and soap at least twice a week
Time of using of the cervical collar must be determined by your physician, if you must use this device during the day and night, please pay attention to the indications.
